What is Meditation?
Meditation is a practice that involves training the mind to focus and redirect thoughts. It is often used to increase awareness, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.
There are many different meditation techniques, but most involve finding a quiet space, adopting a comfortable posture, (usually seated or lying down) and concentrating on a specific object, thought, or activity, such as breathing or repeating a mantra. Through consistent practice, meditation can help you develop a sense of inner peace, improve concentration and clarity of thought, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.
Guided Meditation is when an experienced facilitator takes you through a specific process during mediation, and directs your thoughts to a particular person, place or time. This process enables you to acquire new insights and understanding or to let go of old programming and limiting beliefs.
Guided mediations can be brief or can go for anywhere up to an hour depending on the scope of healing required.

Using Affirmations During Meditation
In guided meditation, affirmations are positive statements that are repeated aloud or silently with the intention of instilling a particular mindset or belief.
Affirmations can be chosen intuitively by drawing a card from a pile or can be created specifically with the intention of healing a particular wound, ailment or belief.
Affirmations are typically repeated multiple times throughout the guided meditation session. The repetition helps reinforce the positive message and allows it to sink into the subconscious mind. Participants may be encouraged to silently repeat the affirmation in sync with their breath or as a mantra.
Affirmations can be combined with visualization techniques to enhance their effectiveness. Participants may be guided to visualize themselves embodying the qualities or beliefs expressed in the affirmation. For example, if the affirmation is "I am confident and empowered," participants may visualize themselves standing tall and assertive, radiating confidence.
